# Translation:
Naim Qassem's statements, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, about Israel's imminent collapse, its failure to achieve its objectives in Lebanon, and that Iran has managed to humiliate America and Israel, and that it will emerge from the war with its head held high, appeared completely disconnected from reality, even if they stem from the heart of the triumphant or victorious conceptual system that resistance and defiance factions, including the Iranian regime, have adopted. What exacerbates the matter is that these statements do not come as propaganda and incitement, or for the purpose of boosting the morale of supporters and sympathizers, as they are issued from absolute conviction and are built upon by choices and policies that result only in further disasters for Lebanese and Iranians (Palestinians included), as evidenced by what happened in Gaza, where not a stone remains upon a stone, and what is happening in Lebanon, as Israel, after destroying most of Hezbollah's capabilities, is imposing its hegemony over approximately a third of Lebanese territory in the south and the Bekaa, and as evidenced by what has happened and is happening in Iran following the elimination of most of its leaders, the destruction of its infrastructure, and the infliction of sustained economic harm upon it, in addition to imposing a blockade on it. The problem does not lie in leaning toward a military or political, confrontational or peaceful option, but rather in adopting realism and rationality, in the concerned parties' understanding of the limits of their capabilities, measured against their opponent, studying international and regional data, and how available resources are managed, in the best and most sound way possible, far from the fatalistic, wishful, and slogan-based mentality of which we have more than enough to overflow the world.
