The Administrative Court of Cundinamarca admitted for review a lawsuit against the appointment of Juan Carlos Florián as second secretary of Foreign Affairs at the General Consulate of Colombia in Brussels, Belgium. The legal action was filed by the Diplomatic and Consular Association of Colombia (Asodiplo), which argues that the appointment would violate the principles of the diplomatic and consular career. According to the lawsuit, there are at least 25 circumstances that, in the view of the professional association, show alleged irregularities in the appointment.
