Srinagar, Jun 20: Meeras Carpet Weavers’ Industrial Cooperative Ltd. has constituted a new executive body and appointed former Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) president Sheikh Ashiq as its patron, as members of the cooperative met in Srinagar to discuss challenges confronting the Kashmir silk hand-knotted carpet industry. The meeting, held at the IICT Complex in Srinagar, unanimously elected a new executive body headed by Farooq Ahmad Shah as president.
