In the Erbaa district of Tokat, 20-year-old İlker Parlak and 23-year-old Oğuz Kale, who were stranded on an islet in the Kelkit Stream with rising water levels, went missing after being caught by a strong current while trying to cross to the opposite bank. Following the report, AFAD, firefighting and search and rescue teams dispatched to the region launched a large-scale search operation, racing against time in the turbulent waters.
