Polish pharmaceutical company Polpharma has launched a voluntary public takeover offer for Romanian drug manufacturer Biofarm at RON 1.379 per share, valuing the deal at approximately EUR 270 million. The two largest Romanian investment funds, which collectively own 88.4% of Biofarm, have already committed to accepting the offer, with regulatory approval from Romania's Financial Supervisory Authority still pending.
