The number of traffic offenses involving scooter riders in Prague has fallen sharply compared with last year, following the disappearance of shared e-scooter services from the Czech capital. Yet police say rule-breaking remains widespread, with hundreds of violations still recorded during recent inspections. Over four days of targeted checks in June, Prague’s municipal police documented 512 traffic offenses involving cyclists and e-scooter users.
