Georgia’s real gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 6.4% year-on-year in May 2026, according to rapid estimates released by the National Statistics Office (Geostat) on June 30. Average real GDP growth for January-May amounted to 7.8%. According to Geostat, the growth was primarily driven by the financial and insurance, information and communication, manufacturing, transportation, and storage sectors.
