Srinagar, June 19: In a remarkable effort that combines environmental awareness with a deep connection to his ancestral homeland, a young Kashmiri Pandit student has spearheaded a conservation initiative aimed at promoting the preservation of the iconic Dal Lake. Trishiv Ohlan, a Class 12 student of Jayshree Periwal International School in Rajasthan, led the programme as part of a research project on climate resilience that is set to be featured in an upcoming international academic publication. Through the initiative, Ohlan sought to contribute to environmental conservation while reconnecting with his Kashmiri roots.
