Jammu and Kashmir's Chief Secretary chaired a review meeting of the Agriculture Production Department to assess the implementation of various agricultural credit schemes across the union territory. Officials discussed progress on schemes including Kisan Credit Cards (11.57 lakh active accounts), the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (₹680 Cr sanctioned), and PM-KISAN (9.16 lakh beneficiaries), with directives issued to accelerate digitization, expand farmer awareness campaigns, and strengthen Farmer Producer Organizations.
