[Capital FM] Nairobi -- A renewed protest against a proposed US-run Ebola quarantine and treatment facility in Nanyuki turned deadly on Tuesday after a clash between the police and protesters left one person dead and at least 19 others arrested, according to human rights groups.

Tensions flared in central Kenya as protesters clashed with police over plans to build an Ebola quarantine centre for US citizens. Officers fired tear gas and made arrests in Nanyuki, where residents say they fear the facility could pose risks to the local community.
