The United States is threatening to revoke the visas of Palestinian UN diplomats unless Ambassador Riyad Mansour withdraws his candidacy for vice president of the UN General Assembly, according to a State Department cable obtained by NPR. The pressure follows Mansour's previous withdrawal from the UN General Assembly presidency race in February after US lobbying.
