The Central Government Pensioners Welfare Association Kashmir (CGPWAK), in collaboration with Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) Kothibagh, Srinagar, organised an awareness programme on “Effects of Drugs on the Next Generation” to educate students and the community about the growing menace of drug abuse among youth. The programme was presided over by CGPWAK President Kifayat Rizvi, who, in his address, emphasized the importance of spiritual guidance, parental care, and social responsibility in safeguarding the younger generation from the dangers of drug addiction. Prominent speakers including Maulana Shaukat Hussain Keng, Dr Muzaffar, Maulana GR Noori and IGP kashmir VK Birdi deliberated on the medical, social, psychological, and legal dimensions of drug abuse.
