The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) will be discontinuing Sunday operations on Route 512 between Mandeville and downtown Kingston as of Sunday, July 5. The state-owned bus company says the decision follows a comprehensive review of the route's operational performance, including passenger demand and revenue generation. “The assessment revealed consistently low passenger usage on Sundays, with some trips recording as few as seven passengers and others carrying only two passengers,” the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
