A Paris appeals court has sentenced Airbus and Air France to the maximum fine of €225,000 each for involuntary manslaughter in connection with the 2009 Rio-Paris flight crash that killed 228 people. Airbus has stated it will appeal to France's highest court, the Court of Cassation.
