The Mountain Research Centre for Field Crops (MRCFC), Khudwani, under the aegis of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir, on Wednesday organised an Input Distribution-cum-Training Programme on Best Practices for Wheat Production under the All India Coordinated Wheat and Barley Improvement Project (AICW&BIP), Tribal Sub Plan–Wheat. The programme, sponsored by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research–Indian Institute of Wheat and Barley Research and the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, witnessed participation of 20 Scheduled Tribe (ST) farmers from Tangmarg village in Kulgam district. During the programme, inputs including Shalimar Bioformulation (Trichoderma) and small farm tool kits were distributed among the participating farmers.
