‘Locals demanded thorough inquiry’ Srinagar, June 25: At least ten workers were injured after an under-construction bridge collapsed along the Srinagar-Uri national highway in the Charadari area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday. Officials said the incident took place on a newly developed bypass stretch where road widening and four-lane infrastructure works are being executed by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO). According to eyewitnesses, the bridge suddenly gave way shortly after a major phase of construction had been completed.
