Victoria (Seychelles), Jun 28:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on Sunday conferred the prestigious 'Guardian of the Blue Horizon' Presidential Distinction by Seychelles President Dr. Patrick Herminie in recognition of his global leadership on climate action, environmental conservation and promotion of the Blue Economy. The honour, being bestowed for the first time, recognises PM Modi's efforts in advancing the interests of developing countries and his longstanding commitment to sustainable management of ocean resources, climate action and the developmental aspirations of Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
