The UN Consolidated List has sanctioned the Congolese armed group TWIRWANEHO, formed between 2008 and early 2010. The group has been implicated in atrocities in the South Kivu province of the Democratic Republic of Congo, including the killing of civilians and the recruitment of children, activities that threaten the peace and security of the Congolese people.
