Kupwara, Jun 16: Months after the issue was highlighted, the damaged ‘Dand Kedal’ bridge in main town Langate continues to remain in disrepair condition and no visible progress on its restoration has been taken in hand by the concerned authorities, leaving thousands of residents helpless. The bridge which is considered a crucial link for dozens of villages has seen no improvement since a detailed report regarding it was last published. According to locals, despite repeated appeals the concerned department has miserably failed to initiate repair work.
