Srinagar, June 19: The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Kashmir of the Crime Branch J&K conducted a house search in Banit area of Beerwah, Budgam district, in connection with a major migrant land fraud case registered at Police Station EOW Kashmir. According to officials, the case relates to an alleged conspiracy involving fraudulent attempts to sell migrant land measuring 14 kanals and 03 marlas located at Goshbugh Pattan in Baramulla district. The accused allegedly used fake agreements and other fraudulent means to facilitate the sale without the consent of the actual landowner.
