Chief Engineer, Transmission, Power Development Department (PDD), Er. Aaquib Sultana Waheed Deva has been conferred the Gold Medal as Distinguished Woman Engineer by the Institution of Engineers (India) in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the engineering profession and the power sector. A statement said that the award was presented on the occasion of International Women in Engineering Day, recognising her leadership, technical excellence and distinguished service spanning more than 22 years in the Power Development Department.
