As the administration and security agencies remain on their toes to ensure smooth and peaceful conduct of the Amarnath Yatra, local Muslim service providers are gearing up with equal enthusiasm to welcome the yatris. The annual Amarnath Yatra to the Amarnath cave shrine is set to begin on July 3 and culminate on August 28. The yatra will be conducted via two routes: the traditional 48-km Nunwan-Pahalgam track in Anantnag district and the shorter but steeper 14-km Baltal route in Ganderbal district.
