The International Centre for Spiritual Studies (ICSS), Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), organised a religio-historical study visit to Kulgam aimed at providing students with an experiential understanding of Kashmir's rich religious and cultural heritage. As part of the study visit, students explored several sites of historical and spiritual significance, including the shrine of Mīr Sayyid Ḥusayn Simnānī , the historic cave at Gofbal, and the sacred site of Khi Jogipura, traditionally associated with Shaykh Nūruddīn Rīshī. The visit enabled students to engage directly with the historical context, spiritual traditions, and enduring legacy of these important sites and personalities.
