Pulwama, Jun 12: Continuing its sustained crackdown against drug trafficking and its financial networks, police in Pulwama have attached a single-storey residential house worth Rs 15.85 lakh belonging to a drug peddler involved in an NDPS case, officials said. The attached property belongs to Shabir Ahmad Khan, son of Ghulam Qadir Khan, a resident of Karnabal Samboora, Kakapora. During the course of the investigation, the property was found to be an illegally acquired asset, raised through proceeds of illicit narcotic trafficking and disproportionate to the known sources of income of the accused, a police spokesperson said in a statement issued here.
