Srinagar, Jun 21: In a significant political development, National Conference (NC) Joint Secretary Gulzar Ahmad Bangroo on Sunday joined the Apni Party along with hundreds of his associates and supporters during a public convention held at SDA Colony, Lachmanpora, Batamaloo in Srinagar. The joining ceremony was presided over by Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, who welcomed the new entrants into the party fold and expressed confidence that their inclusion would strengthen the party's grassroots presence in Srinagar and other parts of the Valley. Besides Gulzar Ahmad Bangroo, several prominent political and social activists formally joined the Apni Party.
