Srinagar, Jul 6: The State Executive Committee (SEC), chaired by Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, on Monday approved post-disaster recovery projects worth Rs 751.46 crore for Jammu and Kashmir, paving the way for the reconstruction and restoration of critical infrastructure damaged during the 2025 disasters. The approvals were granted during the second meeting of the SEC for 2026-27 under the Disaster Management framework. The meeting focused on accelerating post-disaster recovery, strengthening disaster preparedness and enhancing emergency response capacity across the Union Territory.
