In a special edition, we examine how climate change is affecting the lives of women as rising temperatures and increasingly extreme weather events continue to impact communities worldwide. This as the world is also facing a warming El Nino climate pattern in the coming months. We report from India where a series of recent intense heatwaves has pushed temperatures to dangerous levels and posed a particularly serious risk to pregnant women.
