Alaska’s proposed tax increases in <a href="https://www.akleg.gov/basis/Bill/Detail/34?Root=SB%20%2024" target="_blank" rel="" title="https://www.akleg.gov/basis/Bill/Detail/34?Root=SB%20%2024">Senate Bill 24</a>, which would dramatically raise taxes on vapor products and nicotine pouches, raise serious concerns about economic impact and policy priorities. If Gov. Mike Dunleavy signs the bill, consumers would face massive price increases, up to 118% on vapor products and 75% on nicotine pouches.
