As clouds drifted over the emerald meadows of Narsinga and thousands of visitors braved gusty winds and passing showers, Gool witnessed a moment many locals had long awaited. The first-ever officially organised Gool Mela not only celebrated the region’s breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture but also reignited hopes of transforming one of Ramban’s most scenic yet overlooked destinations into a thriving tourism hub capable of generating jobs and reviving the local economy. Jointly organised by the Tourism Department and District Administration Ramban, the mela was held amid strong winds and intermittent showers at the scenic high-altitude destination.
