Conservationists in Kenya have successfully reintroduced the rare forest sitatunga antelope—nicknamed the 'ghost of the forest'—back into the wild after decades of decline. The species, native to forested wetlands, was nearly extinct in Kenya and is being brought back as part of a major wildlife restoration effort.
