Gautam Adani, chairman of India's Adani Group, filed a sworn affidavit denying any promise or agreement behind the US Justice Department's decision to drop criminal bribery charges against him. The 2024 indictment had accused Adani and seven others of participating in a scheme to pay approximately USD 250 million in bribes.
