Jammu, Jul 7: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin on Tuesday stated that the party would play the role of an effective and vigilant opposition in Jammu and Kashmir, vigorously and proactively raising the public issues. He asserted that the central government’s relentless efforts, post Article 370, infused confidence in all sections of society and gave a new identity to women and youth of J&K to aspire to be partners in growth. “I hope that the BJP, in its role as an opposition in the UT and the party in power at the Centre, will help in the progress of J&K and its people, keeping its culture and traditions intact,” NitinNabin stated, while responding to media queries, on the sidelines of an official engagement, before wrapping up his two-day visit to Jammu.
