Ramban, Jun 11: Deputy Inspector General of Police, DKR range, Sargun Shukla on Thursday chaired a high-level security review meeting at the District Police Office Ramban to assess the prevailing security situation, law and order arrangements, and preparedness for the forthcoming Amarnath Yatra (SANJY) 2026. SSP Ramban Arun Gupta welcomed the participants, which included officers from the Army, CRPF, Police, CISF, BSF, SSB, IB, CID, Traffic Police, and Civil Administration. The meeting began with a detailed and insightful presentation by Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan, who attended as a special invitee and briefed the gathering on arrangements and planning for SANJY 2026.
