Jammu, June 13: Security arrangements for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra were reviewed during a meeting here, with authorities stressing technology-driven measures such as enhanced CCTV surveillance, real-time monitoring through integrated control rooms, and stronger communication networks for rapid response. The security management and coordination meeting was chaired by Senior Superintendent of Police, Jammu, Joginder Singh and attended by senior officers of district police, CRPF, BSF, SSB, ITBP, intelligence agencies, civil administration, and disaster management authorities, according to a police spokesperson. The deliberations focused on ensuring seamless coordination among all stakeholders for the safe and peaceful conduct of the 57-day annual pilgrimage scheduled to begin on July 3.
