Japanese tax authorities have identified a Cambodian honorary consul in Sendai for concealing approximately 370 million yen in income from consulting contracts with multiple domestic companies. The investigation has expanded to more than 20 companies accused of tax evasion and receiving improper kickbacks from these arrangements.
