Srinagar, Jun 12: In a significant move towards fostering legislative cooperation, the Committee on Petitions of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly held a high-level meeting with the Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly (JKLA), Abdul Rahim Rather and members of the J&K Assembly’s Petitions Committee. The joint session focused on sharing the institutional best practices, evaluating the operational dynamics of house committees and discussing bilateral developmental strategies, said an official statement. During the extensive deliberations, the delegations from J&K and Karnataka held detailed discussion on the functional mechanisms of their respective Petitions Committees.
