The Prague Technical Administration of Communications (TSK) has started regular maintenance work on Charles Bridge, with restorers and specialists currently removing algae, moss and unwanted vegetation. The work is aimed at protecting the bridge’s sandstone elements from long-term damage caused by moisture and biological growth. According to TSK, the maintenance will continue over the coming weeks and will not affect pedestrian access or tourism on one of Prague’s most visited landmarks.
