A flash flood struck the remote village of Bathoi in Reasi district, Jammu & Kashmir, after the Jamslan River swelled due to intense rainfall. At least 40 residents were evacuated to safer locations, and more than a dozen houses suffered partial or complete damage; no deaths have been reported.
