Srinagar, Jun 29: In a latest development, J&K government has notified a comprehensive transfer policy for faculty members of the Higher Education Department (HED), aimed at ensuring transparency, equitable staff distribution and merit-based transfers across Government Degree Colleges (GDCs). The ‘rule based’ online Annual Transfer Drive (ATD) issued by HED will come into force immediately and mandates that all faculty transfers be processed through a dedicated online portal. “Applications submitted through offline or physical mode will not be entertained,” reads an official notification issued by HED.
