According to Fu, the resolution demonstrates strong support for UNAMA’s activities and underscores the importance of carrying out the mission’s mandate, as well as the work of other relevant UN bodies in Afghanistan. The resolution also calls on UNAMA to facilitate access to the assets of Afghanistan’s central bank for the benefit of the Afghan people.
