Ganderbal, June 16: Preparations are underway at the revered Kheer Bhawani Temple in Tulmulla, Ganderbal, ahead of the annual Kheer Bhawani Mela scheduled to be held on June 22. Although the festival is still days away, devotees from different parts of Jammu and Kashmir and outside the Union Territory have already started visiting the shrine to offer prayers and witness the arrangements being made for the annual pilgrimage. Authorities have intensified preparations to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for pilgrims expected to arrive in large numbers for the mela.
