Srinagar, June 23: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast generally dry weather across Jammu and Kashmir over the next several days, while warning of brief spells of rain, thundershowers and gusty winds during late afternoons and evenings at isolated to scattered places. According to the forecast, weather from June 23 to June 29 is expected to remain largely dry during the forenoon and afternoon hours, although light rain and brief thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds cannot be ruled out towards late afternoon and evening. The department has also predicted a fresh spell of weather activity from June 30 to July 3, with light to moderate rainfall, thunderstorms and brief intense heavy showers likely at many places across the region.
