Srinagar, June 23: The Higher Education Department Tuesday announced the Spot Round for Undergraduate and Integrated Postgraduate admissions in Government Degree Colleges (GDCs)  across Jammu and Kashmir for the academic session 2026-27 to fill vacant seats left after the completion of Round-2 admission formalities. According to an official notification, issued by the HED,  the Spot Round will be conducted through two parallel streams, comprising Walk-in Admissions for programmes with substantial vacancies and Round-3 Direct System Allotment through the centralised admission portal for remaining courses. The department said fresh registration and submission of college and programme preferences on the JK Admissions Portal will remain open from June 23 to June 26.
