President Droupadi Murmu on Saturday reviewed the Passing Out Parade of the 158th Regular Course and the 141st Technical Graduate Course at the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun. Congratulating the officer cadets on successfully completing one of the country’s toughest training programmes, the President said they would play a vital role in safeguarding India’s sovereignty, unity and integrity. Highlighting the presence of nine women cadets in the graduating batch, Murmu described it as a watershed moment in the history of the IMA and a significant milestone for India’s armed forces.
