Baramulla, Jul 6: A three-day memorial cricket tournament in honour of martyred Assistant Commandant GhulamJeelani Khan commenced on Monday at Gantmulla in north Kashmir's Baramulla district. The tournament is being organised by the 53BN of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) which aims to encourage sportsmanship among local youth and strengthen community engagement. The 'Shaheed Ghulam Jeelani Khan, Assistant Commandant Memorial Cricket Tournament' was inaugurated by the family members of the slain officer in the presence of senior officers of the 53 Battalion CRPF, local residents, sports enthusiasts and participating players.
