Filip Salač finished seventh in the German Grand Prix in the Moto2 class, and for the seventh time in a row he made it into the top ten in World Championship races. He started from 15th position. The race at the Sachsenring was won by Spaniard Iván Ortolá, who repelled an attack from his compatriot Daniel Holgada in the final stages.
