Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin on Monday, in a direct offensive against the party’s bete-noire, maintained that J&K youth would still have been identified as “stone-pelters” and not as “Ranji winners”, had Congress been in power at the Centre. “J&K has undergone a sea-change, under the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, marching confidently to play its role as resilient, peaceful and developed part in India’s growth story,” he stated. Nitin Nabin was addressing “Karyakarta Sammelan” and public rally organised to commemorate the 125th birth anniversary of Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee at Majestic Grand, Mishriwala in Jammu outskirts as his first major engagement during his two-day visit to Jammu.
