The U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has added Al-Aqsa Foundation—also known by eight organizational aliases—to its Specially Designated Global Terrorist list, targeting the entity's operations in South Africa. The designation prohibits U.S. persons and entities from conducting financial transactions with the organization.
