Rs 1,667 cr expansion to enhance passenger handling capacity: Director  Srinagar, June 15: Srinagar International Airport is handling nearly 4.4 million passengers annually, significantly exceeding its designed capacity of 2.5 million passengers, airport authorities said on Monday. With these figures, the growing passenger traffic seems to have put considerable pressure on the airport's existing infrastructure and facilities. However, the airport director, Javed Anjum said that they have been handling the passengers efficiently.
