Russian air defense systems intercepted Ukrainian drones across a broad swath of western and southern Russia, including strikes detected over Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Moscow, and other regions, as well as over the Caspian Sea.

A Russian official said her office is verifying the number of civilians from Russia's Kursk region being held in Ukraine and plans to meet with the Ukrainian ombudsperson to discuss the matter.
